This week’s podcast is a long-form interview with Dr. Joseph McHugh of the Department of Entomology, University of Georgia. The first such interview for the podcast, it takes the listener behind the scenes to learn a little about the experiences and motivation associated with species exploration. News of species discoveries, when they attract press coverage, focus on the what, where and when. In this and later interviews with systematists, I want to share the who and how behind species discoveries. I thank Dr. McHugh for taking time to share a little of his infectious passion for insect diversity with listeners.
